Pretty job question as I'm pretty sure everyone uses 205/40/17's but just to make sure, what's the best tyre size to use if I'm lowered on AP S&S a supposed 25mm drop from standard?

Heard of some using 225/40/17s I'm on 205's. Someone will be along with AP's to let you know more shortly.

Not necessarily better grip, as the width of the tyre should match the width of the alloy ideally.

A 215/40 will have a taller sidewall than a 205/40, so will be a slighter softer ride, but worth checking out how far out your speedo will be.
