have done some googling and they do seem to be ok, have read on here to avoid drilled as it wakens disks (not too sure on validity) but will go for grooved & dimpled instead anyway.

come with red box mintex pads, not going to be doing any track days (yet) just wanted 312mm to fill alloys a bit and will be getting 256mm rears as well.

Grooved discs will just be more noisy and wear your pads quicker.

stick with oem.

Had these on my other car, Toyota Auris , lasted 4 years, 20,000 miles, mine were drilled and grooved, rear discs were scored and fronts were lipped, just changed them all round again for the same but just grooved this time, the pads had a lot of life in them but the discs were getting well worn, bear in mind I live in a hilly location, they have good feel to them, didnt notice any noise to them being drilled and grooved and my Auris is petrol, if that's any use to you.

I got mine direct from there website  http://www.mtecbrakes.com/
