What have you got, a EPC light on and a code like PO 321,  or are you asking something else?

It normally means a sensor is giving a stupid reading. Such as the coolant temperature sensor giving a reading of -50°C.

Hi, no, not a dash warning, just a scan threw up a fault code( don't have number to hand) relating to manifold pressure but described it as intermittent and an implausible signal?

Clear it and see if it comes back. If it doesn't I wouldn't worry too much.
