Following an errant stone causing a growing crack, the windscreen was replaced on Dec 19th (auto lights, wipers, heated screen etc, replacement done very efficiently and effectively. Then went to visit our son in Bristol and on the evening of Boxing Day we had our front right wing, headlight and bumper etc damaged in a coming together with another Skoda. We were leaving the M4 to join the M32 to access the Bristol ring road when an Octavia on our right decided to take the slip road back up to the M4 (which of course is on our left) completely ignoring the fact that we were there. Hey oh, the insurance takes another battering. Now we have just had the new screen chipped by another stone. Just bad luck I suppose.

Yes, I think you are right, a dashcam seem to be coming essential. Hopefully in this case the liabilities dept of my insurance company will do its job and get things sorted - we will see!
