Very easily could have been - I didn't see it with the lights off. It didn't look non-standard to my uneducated eye (neither does that one) except for a 'Ring logo under the Octavia badge, it just seemed to go very well.

It was nice to cover a few miles with somebody who used speed when it was safe to do so but wasn't driving like an idiot or "racing" me.

hi there, that would have been me then... yeah, nice to have a bit of fun, breaks up a long trip! It isn't standard, Revo map & K&N Airfilter are the only mods though. Had spent the first part of the A303 trying to work out if you were NA or turbo... had that answered for me though!

erm, yes, it's a Turbo. I wasn't sure if you would want to play at first, though I was wondering when I saw the 'Ring sticker, and the first roundabout when you did I caught myself off-boost for a second and you were gone. I haven't driven a 'Tavia, nor a Revo'd 1.8T but having driven as standard and 2 Upsoluted Leon/Golf versions they have lovely low-down pull for a turbo, and yours has lots of it too!

My fuel light came on not long after Taunton so I was hoping you were going the same way as me and might pull into the Shell at the bottom of Telegraph Hill for a chat when I stopped - typical yours was the junction before then :(
