Need a specialist think the DMF is on its way out, its getting noisy on the tickover and the car feels like its wobbling a bit, like its missing when its ticking over. But the rpm is nailed on 800 and doesnt appear to move. It drives great since i bought it about 5 months ago, done 11,000 miles and love it.Tickover has gone what i would describe as Ropey. Not what it was, so any pointers please ppl where to go. Im living in Prestatyn currently, and work on the Wirral, and Runcorn Frodsham not too far so anywhere around these areas would suit. Want to get it diagnosed and see what the prob is, then what the costs are for replacement. Sadly i think the clutch is fine cos its perfect, but the usual is to replace both. I might b looking at trading it in against a vrs octy. Any help gladly appreciated ppl,and happy new year to you

Central Audi in Ellesmere Port is a VAG specialist, I've used them once for a cruise control retrofit, a work colleague of mine has used them on a number of ocassions for a variety of engine issues and found them to be quite competent. I don't think they're the cheapest independant around, but probably worth a phone call seeing as they're in the right area.

Hi,  I can recommend Robert Eardley at Crewe,  Skoda garage, if they are not to far from you. Always had good service from them.
