Looks nice, but think it all ends there. Bit stoic and stodgy by the sounds of things. It will probably be a straight race between the Passat, New Superb and 3 Series when I replace mine next year

    New passat doesn't look much different to the current one and the superb just looks like the Fabia/octavia/Leon/Toledo (delete as appropriate) both soulless boxes of crap IMO.

    Totally agree and although I'm reserving final judgement on the Superb until the final pictures are released, my initial view is that it's just a stretch of the Octavia shape. Not particularly keen on the 3 Series aside from the GT.

    Have I missed something?

    The latest concepts and spy shots of current test mules suggested the new MkIII Superb had 'something about it'.

    I'm on my phone at the moment so can't easily check out the links.

    I really hope it has some uniqueness about it.

    I've seen the new Passat in What Car? and thought it looked OK, if a little 'expected'.

    Please tell me Skoda have either kept the twindoor system or made it a hatch that looks like a saloon? If it a saloon only then I'm out.

    Why design a big boot that you can't put anything big in? After owning a 3 series I can't understand our obsession with them.

    Like mdon says are Skoda just going to churn out another copy of the Octavia
