i did try to search but cant find answer i needed

I have a 2011 octavia with autolights, just fitted a set of london 5000k light. but it is not lighting up. i connect red wire to brown on bulb holder and black to black. any ideas?

also who can do the coding for me? 

Swap the wires over.

 

Black to brown, and red to black.

Yeah it's the wrong way round.

 

Had the same when I help a member fit to a Superb.

 

Checked with my multimeter and the colours are opposite to what you'd expect.

Give it time took a week for mine to error before coding, flashing the main beam bought it on first.

yes it starting to play up now. one of the unit flash and not stay on. anyone near sheffield or rotherham that can do coding for me

No issue... if you buy the right kit and code it.

 

It's to do with the canbus bulb failure warning system without coding the car is expecting a certain load on the headlight circuit. The HIDs put a different load compared to halogens so it confuses the system.
