Rear Electric Window's

Featured Replies

I know there was a thread on this a while back but it isn't very clear and is against the idea. just wondering what I would need to do to fit rear electric windows? and if anyone has done it how difficult was it? cheers in advance

its hassle trust me you need both window regulators, both electric rear window switches including 4 way drivers one and complete rear window loom

Part numbers, and advise is probably more help here. Does any one have a more technical thought to add?

Would any of the polo/golf models that had rear electric windows be suitable for modifying into a Fabia?

you need a donor car im in the process of doing mine

Old Fabia Elegance model is the best place to source all you'd need as they came standard. How they differ door panel to door panel pattern wise and how to adapt it to suit I don't know. Good luck anyway.

Was an elegance the top spec in terms of 'refinement' then?

I find it strange how an elegance had electric windows front and back yet a Vrs didn't.

Unfortunately yes and only for about two years. Skoda then did cost cutting and the electric windows went out the window. ;)
