Just bought myself a lovely 2006 Octavia vRS in blue (fell in love with it the moment I spied it across a crowded forecourt). I have owned a few “Hot hatches” but none as practical which helps as I have two young uns to drag around with me. I looked at a few different cars but couldn’t believe the bargain that was the vRS, lots of poke, bags of space and beautiful to boot. So now I have introduced myself would love to know any hints or tips on owning a used vRS as I intend on keeping it for at least 3 years. It has had a cam belt, oil and oil filter changed on a recent service (58500k) the car has just ticked over to 62k driving it home from the garage. Look forward to reading the forum and driving my new vRS.
