too high mileage for the price?

Hi all and happy new year!

My friend has offered me his 60 plate company car octavia elegance estate columbus etc but the mileage is 87600 which is the bit im not sure about but he is my bestie so i know how its been ran and full service history etc....6500?? A ggood idea??

Plus i need to sell my vrs tfsi 57 plate

In case anyones wondering i need a diesel due to distance from work and costing a bomb in fuel

Try looking on Autotrader for similar cars and see the prices they are up for, then you will have a rough idea of what it's worth.

I'm no expert but based on recent experience that looks a good price. If it's been properly looked after I don't think the mileage should be a problem. But like I said - I'm no expert!

Is it PD or CR, 1.6 or 2.0 ?

Used VRSs are commanding good prices.

 

My petrol 07 (83k) went on the forecourt for £5800 which I thought was madness but it sold quickly.

Sounds like a good price to me. if you don't have it, tell him I will!

Thanks all i agree its a good deal so im taking it! Just out of interest im about to sell my vrs is it worth trying to sell it on here as its boggs standard?
