hi saw on here a while ago iv changed my headlights on a mk1 vrs to xenon am trying to find out how to keep them on same time as full beem is on same as the golf think you conect a wire in the fuse box but not sure any help an pics would be great thanks martin 

You need the wiring loom.

You don't need the loom at all, you do indeed just need to run a single wire from the light switch to the footwell fusebox. 

I'll dig out the details after work, I'm sure I've got some photos from when I did mine.
