Neil Simpson is selling his S2000!

"This is, without doubt, the best ŠKODA Fabia S2000 available for sale anywhere. No expense has been spared in the maintenance of this immaculate car.

The car is an original ŠKODA Motorsport Cz car and has entered 3 FIA ERC rallies with the ŠKODA Motorsport factory team:"

Price wise, well:

"Price strictly on Application.

Contact Neil Simpson or John Williams for a confidential initial discussion and to arrange viewing"

If I had the money and somewhere to store it, I'd be making an offer!

On the rally websites Skoda Fabia S2000 cars in good condition seem to fetch around £100,000 - £120,000.

I wonder if I could get a bank loan...

What an awesome track day car, especially with Fox Transport logos emblazoned down the sides

Don't let us down, Richard :)

Just tell the wife they are selling Fabias off cheap to make way for the Mk3, we'll back you up

Still not as fast or desirable as a 2.0 Fabia.

That's only a 1.6 phah!!

Problem is Bryan, if you are not going to enter real competitive rallies then it doesn't make sense.

For far less money you could build something faster for track use, because you are not limitied by all the technical legislation to ensure a level playing field.

Or you could buy most of a house. :giggle:

S2000 is a 2 litre 16 Valve.

S2000 is a 2 litre 16 Valve.

So it is! I stand corrected and was obviously confusing it with the big boy WRC cars

The All New 3rd Generation Skoda Fabia body shape being used for the R5 Rally car has a 1.6 Turbo engine in it.

I would love this if I had the money.

Looks the mutts nuts that does, do you reckon they'll do PCP and 3 years free insurance and chuck some mats in !!!

Haha, pff. That car is worthy of the rally sticker.

Do you reckon they'll just sell me the bonnet?

I reckon if every member put in a couple of quid we could get Colin to buy it as the ultimate club mascot

wonder if it uses oil :P

Nah, it's got a proper engine !!!

Yes, if we can get 200 people involved that's only £600 or so each probably. :D

That's why I said every member, and not every Freedom member - I was working on at least 60,000

How many Freedom members are there?

Maybe Colin could bump the rate up and buy himself a new toy. :nerd:

It's deffinatily on my wish list, along with an Octavia WRC

Just had a quick search in the members section at 60 members per page there's 17 full pages and 43 on the last page so there's 1063 Freedom members

If we got 365 of us we could chip in and have it as a time share, 1 day each.
