Just dropping by to say Hello

Hi to one and all..

This looks like the most populated Skoda forum I could find and looks really good and user friendly.

Im starting to look for a new car probably June time, Ex demo or 6 moth old is what Im going to look at. I find owners forums are great for real feedback, views etc.

MY farther and brother both have Skodas, Yeti and MK 2 octavia and love them, Me at present I drive a Vauxhall Octavia, had it from new, a lovely car, but god its had its issues all along the time I have had it. Never again Vauxhall.

This brings me onto what im looking to get, I really like the look of the latest octavia estate, the VRS diesel drg version...

 I'm hoping from this forum that I can find out as much as possible about peoples views, what they have liked/disliked about the car, any taste full after market mods people have done, technical issues etc. 

Comparing similar cars in this price bracket, the skoda looks like it wins hands down for  specs/performance and economy.

So thats me, A married dad of 3 teenage boys, in need of a large economical car which still has a  bit of fun factor included,I tow a folding camper down to south of France each summer, Im an ex biker who plays FPS games online, I love to watch my sons play Hockey and my oldest son Triathlon.

Drive all over the country and Europe supporting them,  approx 20,000miles a year...
