So what's smart gat all about?

wireless engine telemetry - basically the data you can pull from the OBD2 port, but wireless.

    Ok, nothing to get excited about then. I have an obd2 wifi dongle but don't bother with it on a normal basis (I bought it to clear fault code on my old car). I always wondered if there was a decent app out there that would allow you to tweak the car a little (i guess I was after vcds on the iPhone).

    Sadly no wireless VCDS I'm afraid (at least, not yet).

    For wireless ODB2 data, fault code reading etc, I've got an iODB2 widget that allows me to connect my iPhone or iPad (or Android tablet) to it via Wifi and pull in live data. It's quite useful, but nothing I need to use all the time.
