I've got the struts off the (now doomed) group buy from Superskoda.

 

I think they're good quality and a great & easy fit. Plus you get two of them, so the bonnet is very sturdy when raised.

i bought them lasted 6 mths then the 1 started leaking

Not had any problems myself.

Not dissing Devonutopias but super skoda ones open the bonnet as high, if not higher, than the standard bonnet stay.

Where as Devonutopias don't open the bonnet as high as the standard bonnet stay, so hitting your head on the grille whilst working under the bonnet becomes a regular occurrence! !!!

Super skodas raised it higher than standard.
