Been looking at spacers on ebay. 15mm are the ones im goin for but whats the other measurement mean? Some say 5x112 and some say 5 x 100? Which is the correct one for a fl vrs estate?

Anyone?

Hi mate, the 5 is how many wheel bolts, and the 100 or 112 is the distance the bolts are a part. I'm fairly sure this is right.

Some spacers will come with 5 x 100 and 5 x 112 fitment. Your Octavia will be 5 x 112.

I think you need the 5x112 fitment, I can't be 100% on this tho mate

You need 5x112 57.1 centre bore. Make sure you get hubcentric with extended bolts.

Yes buy hub centric best fit there is 512 is correct size as stated.

The 112 refers to the diameter of the circle on which you have (in this case) the 5 equally spaced holes.

The technical name is Pitch Circle Diameter or PCD. 

 

I just find it easier to remember stuff if I know why.

I bought some brand new Eibach Pro spacers (S90-9-11-002) from ebay:

- 11mm per wheel

- hubernetic

- 5x112/5x100

- 57.1

 

...and foud out that the diameter of spacer is about 1cm less then diameter of a hub. So there is a 5mmx11mm gap round and round. Pics are attached.

 

Could this be an issue?

 

The seller stated (in his add) that the spacers fit to Skoda Octavia 1U/1Z. Which they do, but i can't find these spacers in Eibach catalogue for my vRS.

 

Any thoughts?
