RCD 510 DAB stereo

Featured Replies

For sale is 1 x Mint condition VW RCD 510 DAB Head unit, with built in 6 disc CD Changer, SD Card slot and of course DAB radio. Was fitted to my Octavia, plug and play, no coding needed, just a foil DAB antenna from Halfords for £19 and you are good to go. Sold car so no use now.

It's the VW model, so shows up with red illumination at night, but to be honest, it looks fine to me.

This will go straight into, with only a foil antenna required;

MK2 Fabia - No mods

MK2 Superb - No Mods

MK 2 Octavia - New Fascia required (Same as Columbus)

Yeti - later models require fascia plate

It also of course fits Passat / Golf V onwards / Jetta etc.

Not sure about the Rapid, you need to check, but I suspect it's standard unit is an RCD 310 so this will drop straight in if that's the case.

Reception has been fine with the foil antenna, very very few drops, and if it does drop it auto switches to the same station on FM, then auto switches back again.

Price is £300 Ono.

Look at my pics above... You can get a facia for any Octavia to fit.
