Columbus question..

Featured Replies

I have a Columbus - using two SD cards and a USB for music. When I start up the car, the stereo always starts playing the first track (i.e. first track in first folder, sorted alphabetically) on one of the SD cards, rather than the album/track I was listening to when I turned it off.

Is there a way to change this so that it just continues with the song I was listening to before?

My Bolero does the same sometimes. If I turn off the ICE before I turn off the engine/remove the key it generally starts again where I left off.

I've never had a problem, but then I'm only running off one 64gb SD card. Perhaps try removing the USB and see if it still does it?

Why not download the music from the SD cards and USB stick to the hard drive of Columbus. I believe there is something called "Jukebox" which allows you to sort your music and probably allow the last bit of music to start when turning on.

I have the same set up and don't have the issue.  It defaults to the start of SD1 if I've taken any of the cards/usb out to add/remove music though.

As a thought, won't that be the play order?  I can switch mine between alphabetical artist or by album.
