Featured Replies

Sorry posting for the OP with what i thought was a 105ps 1.2TSI Monte Carlo Black Edition.

I know, don't worry. Question was MPH, can we get it to 69 MPH?

Okay you're confusing me now :D

Okay you're confusing me now :D

People are generally careful about admitting any form of speeding on a public forum.

Im not entirely sure why.

Theres bugger all evidence to support it, and even if one did exceed 70mph, theres no saying it was on a public highway

Whatever i say on here, there is no hard evidence it has ever happened in real life, anyway i'm off to shoot for the new Top Gear in the morning so i better get some sleep

Depends on the dealer IMO, my MK1 VRS was heavily modified and was still under manufacturers warranty and they weren't bothered in the slightest!

I'm tempted by a remap for my Tdi monte

Dealerships & Workshop Technicians do not foot the bill on Warranty Claims on Engines, Gearboxes etc,

& might ignore some items, it does not mean the Underwriter Covering the costs will.

This is from another thread on the Forum just now.

Damn, i know every dealer is different but it's not worth losing your car or going through all this the Seat guy has just because of the mods. That's why i'm too scared to do any mods that might have an effect on the warranry
