Porsche calipers, which discs?

Featured Replies

I have porsche 996 calipers on my car atm but going to need to change the discs and pads soon.

What discs do people use from which car?

Atm it's a 330x28mm

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I believe it's the same discs from the Cupra R 4 pot setup.

there are many size discs you can you if you right to the guy on ebay selling the brackets he can advise you on what your options are

Lol I don't want 323 I want 330. Hence why I've asked which discs have people used

I've done a lot a research into discs and talked to people who do a lot of track days. The conclusion was that standard (ie not drilled, grooved etc) are just as good if not better with the right pads, I'd stick with standard 330mm from the likes of Pagid.

:D

That link is for 334 which is r32 gold discs. My carriers and calipers won't take that size. I thinking I'm just gunna have to stick with Alfa ones

Steve do you not get this? I alrwdy have porsche calipers the correct carriers and discs on my car running now. I am going to need to change them soon as they area wearing out. The carriers that I have use the 330mm discs not 323mm discs. Does this make sense now?

I brought a full kit but unsure on what discs mine come off originally so I can order some new ones

If it's any help, my local parts place can bring up any disc if you enter the sizes.

So if you measure everything you need they will bring up all discs from each make and model.

Good luck anyway.... I can tell your gonna need it :D

330mm x what thickness i'll tell you what they are off

330x28mm

Center hole 68mm

Height 39.1mm

Pcd 5x100 but this can't be changed.

The closes ones I've found are Alfa Berra ones but center hole is 71mm which make the discs float around on the hub so hard to keep central while putting wheels back on.

Search for Vagbremtechnic on Facebook and fire a message to Dave who runs it, tell him Adam from MAD sent you, he will be able to point you in the right direction, I can't recall what the 330 disc is off the top of my head we deal with that many different ones on the kits haha.

take a disc off take it to your local car store tell them what you are saying on here and if they can be bothered they could help you out

What he said but with an added, clean it up and have a damned good look for parts numbers.

I tried measuring before with disks in place and unless you have a callipers, accuracy is way off.

Hey, i just though i would add there are mercedes 330mm x 28mm 5x112 discs, only thing is you will need hubcentric spacers. Would be worth a look :-)

I had them the other day to test only prop with them is they are to high so won't fit

Oh okay what is too high? Only thought of them as some vw guys use them.

When they are layed down flat the highest point must be 39mm. The merc ones where 45mm
