Rain Light sensor

Featured Replies

hello,

I own Skoda Ocativa II 2010 (FL) with a rain sensor and auto dimming mirrios, while surfing the internet I found that in some VW cars the rain sensor is the same as the light sensor , the same device make the 2 functions , it is mounted on the windshield behind the mirror, i found that the sensor they assume it works as both rain and light sensor is the same as my sensor in the attached picture , If I changed the light switch in my car with the one that has the auto function will the automatic lights works in my car ?

i just can't imagine that the feature is in the car since I bought it in 2009 and can't use it just because of the switch and in the same time I don't think that it is as simple as that and only changing the switch will make it works, any help is very appreciated .
