I'm considering getting a pair of Fabia vRS DRL's and fitting them in place of the standard fogs on my 2008 Octy vRS. Does anyone know if the Fabia DRL's will fit, or has anyone tried this yet?

No one has been brave enough yet.

 

They will physically fit the apertures but it is unknown as to whether the mounting points of the LED DRL's match the holes on the back of the pre-FL vRS bumper.

I'm up for a challenge, might be worth a punt then?!

Only prob is u will have to make ur own mounts as I looked into this and the fog lights are very different, but good luck look forward to the write up on this

On second thoughts, and after a close inspection, I think on this occassion I'll pass. The idea to fit them is a good one but the hassle to acheive this, for me at least, isn't going to be worth it............ unfortunately!
