Fabia VRS MK1 CD MULTI CHANGER REMOVAL

Afternoon All. 

 

Just a quick one, Does anyone or ha anyone removed the CD Multi-changer from under the N/S/F seat? I dont use it and never will so looking at removing and selling.

There's also the wiring harness... Not entirely sure as to how that's routed.

There's a cutout in the carpet under the set for the wiring harness.

 

Symphony should work in other vehicles. Procided you have the code. At your reg (05?) It should be "smart coded". Meaning it recognises your car and doesn't need the code.

 

Also, also, Once the CDC is removed, you have a hole under the seat. Not visible unless you look down there but perfectionists might want to replace the CDC surround with the under seat storage cubby and trim that is supplied on non-CDC cars. (See under driver's seat).

Thank you Vindaloo! Yea i assumed there would be a harness for the changer. Smart coded, iv had the head unit out a few times and back in and have to out my radio code in a each time. Aslong as someone else can use it with the code in there vehicle then ill sell it.
