Have my interior lights broke?

Featured Replies

When it's on the "door" setting, they are always on, so when i lock the car they dim around 80% but don't fully go off. What's happened to them?

Thanks

Anyone..?? Is it a fuse or something? They're basically always on even when i put the switch to "only when the door opens" and even when i start the engine they should go off but they don't

Have you changed them for leds?

If so. Thats why.

You needs canbus leds.these have a resistor in that stops so much current. Should cure it.

I've had leds in for months now, this only happened today and can't seem to fix it or i don't know why it's doing that

Try putting the OEM bulbs back in, I suspect otaylor is right about the LED being the problem, if they are then the OEM bulbs will function correctly.

+1 for canbus LED it's been the cause of a lot of similar issues in the cabin.

Just confused if it's the canbus issue why this didn't happen when i first installed them 2-3 months ago

Took it out and put it back in but no change

Did they go off completely when you took out the fuse?

Didn't check, i just took it out and put it straight back in

I would check and make sure you got the right fuse and also that there isn't a problem with the earthing or that there isn't another feed powering the circuit. Unlikely but worth checking

Okay cool, i'll check again tomorrow or on Tuesday, got a feeling it's something to do with the fuse
