Insurance Documents Question?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I got home from work today to see that my dog had decided he wanted to see what was inside my letter. My Insurance Documents now have teeth marks in them, just wondering if it would be okay to sign the ones which need to be signed and send them back to the insurance company as they are with the teeth marks? Would they accept them?

Thanks, Adam

Simpler to get them re-issued.

Do they not Email Documents so that you can print them off?

They never emailed me anything, didnt think to ask them that haha.

Il give them a ring tomorrow and ask if they can email me the documents to print out instead so my dog doesnt get hold of them again.

Don't forget to use the iconic line "my dog ate them".

Haha I won't and this time it won't be a lie to get out of doing homework it's actually happened haha

I'd have signed and sent them back with a little note attached that just says "Sorry" signed with a dog paw print... would have given them a laugh!

I guess it's the DDM or Prop that we've sent you for signing. The issuer will only accept the original of that, not a scanned/email version (which is a pain to us too). Teeth marks should be OK but I'll get a fresh set sent out just to be on the safe side.

best,

Nick
