protective phone cases recomendations.

Featured Replies

Im after a protective case for my galaxy note 2. Its a big phone to start off with so im after somethin that will protect it but not add to the bulkiness. Been looking at the love mei cases but i have read they hinder reception. Im after somethin minimal yet strong. Any sugestions?

I have a company supplied iPhone and they supplied an Otterbox. Absolutely brilliant (I work outdoors, down manholes, up poles etc etc). Not sure if they do one for your phone but worth looking into.

They do look like they do the trick. Bit bulky though really

They are a bit bulky mate but it really is super protective.

To protect against drops it really needs a bit of bulk to cushion the impact. Thin cases only really protect against scratches.

I've got a £1 ebay silicon case on my phone. Works really well. I keep meaning to get a nicer case but the cheap rubbery thing works well. Main advantage is that the phone is not slippy even if my hands are a bit wet.

I bought a Tech21 case from Amazon for my S4 - works great and not too bulky but I don't know how available they are for the Notes

Not interested in the proper Samsung case?

Proper one? I have just gone for an aluminium ultra thin case. The really strong/waterproof ones are just to bulky. Ill just have to see how it gos.

Ah right. I went for the metal ultra thin case fdom ebay in the end. Should be comin tomorrow. Ill let you know what i think

I had a Love Mei case on my S5 for a bit...It was built like a tank, twice (or more) the weight of the phone and let loads of dust in which made me entirely doubtful of it's claimed waterproof nature.

I now have a Spiegen 'Tough armor' and while it's not waterproof, it feels nice and sturdy...I got a tempered glass screen protector as well while I was at it.
