just went to book my Superb in for a service at Orchard, Billing, Northampton and they have gone t*ts up!

I'll have to go Bedford for now, as M.K. too inconvenient.

Anyone know what's happening? :confused:

Skoda seem to be shutting them all in favour of big VW style showrooms

It seems a lot of dealers are dissapearing now -

Bexhill Skoda have just lost their dealership so now I have no choice but to go to the dreaded Saltdean garage!

Bexhill were always really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, why couldn't they have shut Saltdean instead?

This was the newer dealership, been skoda for about last 2 years after Car-nation stopped.

I live local to Northampton and took my car to Pillings at MK. Never been to the Bedford one but I can recommend Pillings. It's not in the centre but it has a small shopping complex next door to amuse you for the time it takes. Morrisons cafe for tea/cake/breakfast. Has the Hyundai part of Orchard gone as well?

Yep we are stil over in M.K and are taking a fair bit of Orchards work over. I live local to Orchards so may be able to help with collection etc.

Having said that the Bedford dealer is very good also. (both of us being alot better than the now defunct Orchards )

Thanks for the help. I work in Bedford a couple of days a week so will be the best bet for now.

and yes, all of Orchards has gone. No tears there, as everytime the car went in, it came out worse! :(

Just had a 51,000 service at Skoda Bedford. Thank you guys .

However does anyone know if Northampton is likely to get a new dealership.

Reason is my beloved car's up for replacement next march, and if there isn't a local dealer I will have to change brands. :(
