Ordered a de humidifier bag on line from local Halfords ( cheaper that I could find on Halfords) and on the way there I noticed my rear washer jets were partially clogged. Cleared them with a bit of wire and while running the washers the wiper stopped in the middle of the screen when I ran it continuously for a few seconds! Stopped and started  Ok after a break but the same thing has happened again. Is there a thermal trip which kicks in or is the prognosis terminal?

Could it be the wiper stops whatever it's doing when you press wash to allow the washer fluid to spray then it resumes wiping?

I meant cheaper than Amazon- sorry.

No, the wiper washer has not done that before- always washed and wiped at the same time and never stopped halfway up. .
