Posting on behalf of Orangebows. CD Player Replacement

Featured Replies

As title, Orangebows is struggling to start a thread regarding CD player replacement.

Im guessing he may be using tapatalk, and there has been some issues posting this way recently including duplicate or unanswerable Topic starting.

Try replying to this thread Orangebows, and if you can explain your problem with the car in more detail

Cheers

Hi Damien! I received your repost, thank you for stepping in. I'll post this reply first to see if it works, and yes I'm using Tapatalk but also tried via the website but that threw up an error also.

Thought it was a a tapatalk issue.

Seems to be thread starting and not replying.

Well its working now, so explain your problem in more detail, and Im sure our kind members will try and help you out

Oh, just pasted my original query but failed again... Is there a character limit?

Try posting it in two parts...

Also you will accrue the minimum post counts quicker, for me to be able to contact you via PM as well

Ok thanks again Damon. I'll rewrite to minimise. I have a 58 plate 2L TF3 SE and would like to swap the standard 6 CD player for a sat nav/dvd/TV unit.

Would appreciate some help choosing a suitable unit and a brief idea of what is entailed.

Many thanks and keep up the great work with the forum, love it.

Cheers

That should be TDI not TF3...

Would you not like the Columbus unit?

I have it in mine and its fantastic.

It does all the things you require, and you can include tv and reverse camera with a few mods

It also integrates perfectly with your car

Alternative is something like the Kenwood in this thread (fitted to an Octy though, but Superb will be fine also)
