Evening all,

Well after 11yrs and 1 day of ownership from new, i waved goodbye to my fabia. It was a sad day to see it go, but i know the new owners will look after it, and its still local to me. So i will still see it around. Its been a great car, as many fellow owners know. Nothing major ever went wrong, just your normal wear and tear. Overall, a great car.

I have moved to a different manufacturer now. Still part of VAG group though. A VW polo bluegt. It,s a 1.4 petrol turbo charged 140bhp. Nice car, quite punchy, but hasn,t got the grunt of the fabia though, but so far, its all good.

Thats the one, it cuts down to 2 cylinders when on light light throttle. It runs on cylinders 1 & 4 when fuel saving.

To be fair, it's quite punchy for a 1.4. I do miss the low down grunt of the fabia. Just adjust the driving style to suit. Still learning, but overall I'm pleased with it.
