Hi, I live in Staffordshire. Ever since I have owned my mk2 octavia Vrs I have treated it better than my wife! Spent lots of money in it but no matter how careful I have been, or how far away on a car park I park I just attract idiots who like to damage people pride and joy, I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent resprays garage cheap and local?? Many thanks

Be careful - the skoda paint is very good but if you dont use OEM it can react and bubble. Cheap local places will struggle if metalic. Get a very fixed price!

Well I did have my spoiler done not far away from me and they did a very good job but was expensive but then again it's the old saying you pay for what you get! I wouldn't mind but my misses don't look after her car yet her car has no scratches no dents n she just dumps it on a car park anywhere! Cheers anyway

Hi, Our driver side window made a growly noise then wound itself all the way down, and is now stuck. We have removed the door panel and can't even lift the glass manually from the bottom. It will not move. I think we need to replace the window regulator, but it seems that we need the glass half up to remove it. (Need to line up the rubber bung with a slot in the regulator?) I just want the window shut for when this heatwave breaks and the rain returns. Then we can order and fit new parts later.

Hi all, while dismantling all the covers yesterday for access to apply Lanoguard, I found this block of foam rubber tucked in behind the wing on the UK passenger side. No sign of such a thing on the driver's side, and it's so firmly held up at the top that I guess you'd have to remove the wing panel to get it fully out.. always a possibility with an 11 yrs old car. Seems like some kind of noise reducing thingy? Anyhoo I sprayed behind it and pushed it back into place before reinstalling the whee

One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon.

2022 Skoda Octavia 1.5tsi estate. Following a battery issue, I now have 10 CAN Network Gateway faults, all related to low voltage. The battery has been replaced with a new one but I need to register the new one with the car. I have a Carista EVO reader but it won’t reset the fault codes. Reads them fine but won’t reset them. (I’ve subscribed for a month so that part is fine.) I checked the battery voltage and it was 14.1v so I took the car for a 30 minute drive to see if the car’s computer/sens
