Kenwood dnx525 dab or Columbus?

Featured Replies

Looking for a stereo upgrade and thought about one of these.

I've found a kenwood but it's got a vw logo as start up. I presume I can change this once installed via VCDS as I'm about to purchase one from Ross tec.

Will either of these head units need coding in to my 2010 Vrs? Currently have a bolero wich I will be selling.

Don't think you need VCDS to change boot logo on the Kenwood.

I've got a DNX521 for sale in the classified section. It has the Skoda boot up logo installed. Afraid I don't know what the 525 offers over the 521?

Unless it's very different, it won't need coding. They are designed to be plug and play.

I've got the dnx521dab and they are brilliant piece of kit. I've had it about 6 months now and it's the best thing I've got for the fabia vrs. Mine also had the vw logo start up I changed mine to the kenwood one.
