Replaced entire front door - now rear door won't lock

Featured Replies

I was advised it would be because of the door controllers not matching. Luckily i saved the old controller - but when I plug it in, the rear door still won't lock.

Any ideas?

Wiring is different between GEN 2 and GEN3

I did just plug the controller straight in, as the connectors were all the same - when people said the wiring was different, I thought I was OK as all the connections seemed to match up. i'll have a go with the old wiring and report back.

Cheers!

Coding problem maybe

I did plug in the new door as it was first, obviously. Could this have messed something up in the coding that now needds a reset?

As said

GEN 2 wiring is different to GEN3

Some wires may be in the same place but will do other things

Coding won't be an issue unless the newer Conmtroller is used
