New VRS owner. Finally got rid of the Renault Megane (Dreadful) and now drive a new VRS Fabia. Fantastic to drive, but my boyfriend keeps wanting to drive it all the time and he drives a BMW !!

Hi Franc, Welcome to Briskoda. We have two things in common. West Yorks (Bingley) and I used to own a crappy Megane too !! Hope the like the vRS. Its awesome isnt it. I just love driving it. I'm not suprised your boyfriend likes to drive it. What BM does he have?

There are many threads on here about keeping your Fabia in tip-top condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. Perhaps I can direct you to some regarding polishing etc which might be of interest when handing the keys over to your boyfriend? Just make sure you get the keys back

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
