Octavia VRS Bolero/Amundsen Mitsumi A/V cable

Hello!

I was just searching on how to connect a normal Digital Tv tuner to my Amundsen, and i just found this on ebay - http://galleryplus.ebayimg.com/ws/web/201007022439_1_0_1/1000x1000.jpg

It´s a cable to connect to the Mitsumi door (MDI) with Audi/Video inputs.

Anyone tried this? Can we connect a tv tuner to this? A playstation for instance?

It works.

You can connect RCA devices..playstation, Video camera, DVD player etc etc...

Tested in my VRS :p

Looks good - i've got columbus in the vRS but the wife Scout (on order) has amundsen - not sure which one if either has MDI (columbus just has usb i think?), but would be interested in this and tuner if it works.

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. My 2023 Fabia started throwing up two faults. First the windshield wipers stop working and there's a fault about that. So far I have been able to get them started again by turning them on and off a few times. Then another fault happens in rapid succession and the lane assist stops working. I have an extended warranty until September but the dealer suggested it might be out of warranty because I recently had an oil service, MOT, and new tyres fitted at a local garage. Any advice welcome.

For the past few days, I’ve noticed that the Remote Park Assist option has been added to the Assisted Drive Plus package in the configurator (though I’m not sure if this applies to all countries). I asked my dealer if this option can be activated for vehicles that have already been produced. I had a low coolant error flash up the other day (first time ever). Checked coolant level & it was a bit low. Topped it up & will keep monitoring. Question is where has the coolant escaped from? No obvious signs of any leaks. Mileage is 52,500 & next service is away off. Does the 280 have a weep hole in the water pump to indicate a new pump is required?
