I had an engine management light come on in my car last week and had it checked out by my local dealer, turned out to be two sensors.

The dealer (Very nice lady) informed me that this was covered under warranty and would be fixed gratis.

Then the question came......

"Can I ask if your car has been chipped Sir?"

to which I looked a bit shy and cheeky, i felt like i was at school again being asked if i had done something wrong.

"Well will it make a difference to my car being fixed depending on my answer?", i said a bit toungue in cheek

"No not at all" she replied

"Well in that case it has then"

Waiting for the sucker punch of terms and conditions of the warranty getting slung at me i was surprised by her answer.

"Can i have a shot? I have just bought a vRS and fancied getting it chipped"

of course i agreed and i have the car booked in tomorrow to get the sensors fixed and i have her booked in afterwards for a test drive

I hope she approves of my BFOFMIC I have fitted since my last visit
