Wahoooo Knockings gone :)

Featured Replies

Ever since i bought my Octavia Vrs (75k on the clock) its had an annoying knocking noise coming from the front. So i took it back to the garage i got it from and had them look at it as it had 3 months warranty with it.

They had there mechanic look at it and he couldnt see nothing wrong but as i noticed it on the test drive they agreed what ever it takes it will be done as wrote on the invoice.

So after 2 months i took it back again saying it seemed to be getting worse but there mechanic got funny saying "ive looked at it once and couldnt see nothing wrong" and basiclly said he aint looking at it and replacing parts willy nilly.

I told the salesman (Lee) i want it sorted as they said they would. He then told me to take it to the garage i use which i did :) The lion garage (VW speicialists) in Leicester.

Straight the way they said anti roll bar bushes and sorted it with in an afternoon.

Now the car sounds and drives like its brand new and i can enjoy my Vrs as i should.

i bet you spend the next few days listening for it though.

annoyed me for a few weeks, but advice from briskoda helped me get it sorted, without dealership intervention.
