Had my Fabia VRS MK1 just under a week and absolutely love it. When I bought it, it didnt have a passenger side rear window winder.. so I've bought one. Popped it on, but still the window doesn't wind up or down at all, it the handle is extremely tight aswell. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I was wondering how I took that door panel off, that would probably be easiest - thank you.

Yeah, best take the panel off incase it's been wedged closed for whatever reason.

It's easy enough to remove anyway, better off searching for a guide or looking at the guides on how to seal the rear doors since it will be the same procedure.

I've had a look today and the window is totally fubared. Any idea where to go from here? Here's a few pics:

 

 

The cable has snapped or been cut or something, very strange for a rear window, first one I've ever seen in a Fabia in fact.

You can buy replacement cables and make your own, very tedious job.

Other thing you can do is buy a regulator kit and change the full thing.

No guides that I know of, like I say... Yours is the first I've seen.
