There are many places where you can buy a cable, but please do not ask for a crack for vag-com. Have you tried a search?

no i cant find the obdii to serial com here in greece and i thought you know a web site to buy it from i heard that their price is around 30 pounds.nobody here know a store?If you dont want to post please send pm so there is no way of thinking that this is advertisement.

The cables crop up on ebay quiet often, and the downloadable version from the software companies website allows you to do basic things, so you can try before you buy.

I bought a cable on EBay and it was rubbish. Some people have got them to work though.

I'm about to use a piece of PDA software called 'OBDGauge ' which is freeware (Palm, Pocket PC), it can monitor most sensors, reset the engine light, and store data for graph programs (there is a free graphing tool available, also). I've been in touch with a US company listed on the OBDGauge site (multiplex engineering), and they say they can supply a RS232 (serial) OBD interface for $91, shipped.
