Hi I don't know if anyone has any ideas about this but thought I'd ask.  

 

I have a Superb Greenline Estate. Even though the boot is firmly closed, as I'm driving along, the central  display swaps to the image of the car indicating that the boot is open, accompanied with a BING and the internal lights coming on.  The after a second or so everything goes back to normal.  The odd thing though is that this repeats itself at exactly 5 second intervals.  I can't find anything at all in the manual which suggests what could be wrong.  My car is actually still under warranty and so I'm taking it in to be sorted out next week, but in the meantime I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about what might be going on?

Sounds like a faulty or incorrectly adjusted switch.
