Have lurked on this forum for almost a decade, and gained a lot of informations.

 

Am a Fabia person (no pipe and slippers yet, though.

 

 

First Fabia I, petrol 1.4 101hk - the usual VW engine/electricial troubles.

Current Fabia II, 1.9 TDI 105hk 5 spd gear - great engine no troubles whatsoever after 135000 miles.

This summer the good old Fab II 1.9 TDI will be replaced with a Fabia III 1.2 petrol DSG.

 

Dont really care about design and fashion, hence Fabia person.

OK Fab II has always been ugly, but I think Fab III with its straigth lines has caught the design-trend of the future.

Lets compare with Ford and Vauxhall/Opel in five years.

Fabia 2 'UGLY'!....never ever, ever! Maybe a little bit tall & skinny, but the 'styling' is is very good. Plus....have a good stare at it especially from the front, to me it says class & panache, lol.
