load protector

Featured Replies

I was thinking of fitting a load protector in my estate so I had a look around inside and unlike the mondeo it hasn't got pre built holes/slots in the headlining. Has anyone fitted  one of these and if so where do they attach ?

thanks

Don't buy a Skoda one, look on eBay, normally better quality and ensure it's rubber not formed plastic as they are rubbish, hth.

Assuming you mean to protect the carpet?

Other than that you'll mean the bumper protector?

I think what peterposh means is the luggage compartment divider that fits between floor and head lining, not rubber floor protector.

A dog guard in other words.

Without the right tools, the Skoda dog guard is a bit of a pain to fit, you need to drill the side panel carpet and cut a couple of circular holes in the headlining, then fit rivet nuts into the pre-pressed holes, then it just bolts on,

obviously it's a nice fit and looks the part as its a genuine accessory

Something to stop any stuff in the estate area flying forward when stopping suddenly, not necessarily a cage type doggy guard as they look awful . My mondeo had a material fine mesh net type thing that attached to the headlining / sides so I could pile stuff up to the roof in the estate part without fear of it hitting the back of my head .
