Welcome to the ad for my 2003 Skoda Fabia 1.9TDI (PD100) Elegance

 

118k Miles, Mostly motorway miles in my tenure

 

MOT until the 02/09/2015

 

Standard Elegance specifications include; Air Conditioning, ASR (Traction Control), Heated Seats, Electric Front Window’s, Heated and Electronically Adjustable Wing Mirrors, Front and Rears Fog Lights, etc.

 

HPI Clear, 4 keepers including myself

 

I have had up to 60mpg from the car on long motorway runs, and regularly achieve 55mpg with mixed driving!

 

The car has the ‘ATD’ 100bhp engine, which is a great balance between performance and economy. The car is a great motorway mile eater and sits comfortably at 70mph and likewise around town. The car has no modifications.

Service History

The car has a Part Service History, the service book was regularly filled in every 10,000 miles or so from its sale to around 60k miles, from then until my purchase there are only a few receipts. However since my tenure of the vehicle (including the week it was purchased) the car has received a service every 10k or so miles and all minor issues (such as FARB bushes, wheel bearing etc) have been rectified as soon as they have appeared. Lots and lots of receipts during my ownership as can be seen by the photo's. I purchased the car in April 2013 at 91k Miles and the cam/timing belt was changed by my dad at this time.

 

I have lots and lots of receipts for tyres, tracking, track rod ends and service bits including Front pads and discs on both sides late last year (around 2k miles ago). When carrying out services and topping up I have always used the correct spec 505.01 Fully Synthetic PD oil, essential with these cars! 

 

I have put new front tyres on in January (Hankook’s) and followed this with laser tracking alignment (receipt for this). All tyres are in good shape with lots and lots of life left, as can be seen from the pictures.

 

Bad Bits

 

The rear bumper has a few scratches and scuffs as shown in the pictures and a small one of the front bumper, barely visible below the lip. There is also a small dent in the driver’s door below the bump guard and a small crease on the driver’s side rear door, which is the only dent I have had in my ownership, caused by my friend opening his car door into mine! Also a few other minor age related scratches and dings

 

The reason for this reluctant sale is that I have purchased a Mk1 VRS Fabia, my third MK1!! The car has never missed a beat on journeys to France and uncountable journeys up and down the A1 alike. The car is a great second car or even first if you can find cheap enough insurance!

 

Car is based in Riccall, North Yorkshire! I am more than happy for people to bring mechanics or diagnostic equipment along with them as I have nothing to hide!

 

I am not currently insured on the car as I have transferred the policy to my new car, but more than happy for people to test drive with valid 'day insurance'
