As above are you able to just remove box does battery have to be removed, do i need to turn air bag off.

When I removed mine I used the key to turn airbag off but left battery connected

Pain in the ass to get the airbag wire back in when re installing the glove box

yes looks a pain limited room, think i will go a different route for my needs cheers.

The plug is a pain to refit, i use needle nose plyers. If you do remove it do not turn the ignition on with it out

Was fitting a dash cam going behind stereo top vents and going the glove box route as running from the power socket.

 

Tryed the piggy back route, but it would not power up on its own, dont know why.

Unplugging is quite easy.

Ugh ing back in is equally easy if you remove the two screws holding the bracket for the airbag switch first.

Pass the cable through, connect it and then put the screws back.

Pretty painless that way.
