Monte Carlo first service

Featured Replies

Hi, looking for some advice on getting my Monte's (1.2 Tsi) first service done. I've had the car two months, it's due its first service end of Feb and the best quote I've got so far is £105.60 from a Skoda retailer. Is this average price? Should I be looking elsewhere? And does it have to be done by Skoda? I've only got 4000 miles on the clock.

can be done at an independent and still keep warranty if you use genuine parts

That is actually a pretty good price compared to many others for a 'Minor / annual' Service..

You can have a Oil & Filter / fluids Service & inspection done by someone else,

but.

You really want the Body Inspection doing for the Warranty, and any Service Campaign Work or Updates & Enhancements

that have come up in the past 12 months,

so maybe worth having the Annual Service done at a Skoda or VW Dealership, maybe even a Seat one,

whoever will do it cheapest.

I got quoted £165 first then £136 by a Skoda retailer so £105 odd is very good..

£60 full service ;) 62 plate monte 1.6 , done our selfs
