Octavia fog light assemblies on facelifted cars

Featured Replies

Hello again, last question...

I see a few facelift Octavia's with an extra bare bulb in the fog light housing, on the outer edge as it were still within the glass as I say.

Are these turning / cornering bulbs that automatically light up when turning under certain conditions?

Thank you.

Yep, DRL's or Daytime Running Lights.

A lot of MkII facelift Octavia's left the factory with the DRL's disabled. They can be enabled using VCDS or by asking your local dealer.

Once activated the procedure in the manual to turn them on and off will work (using either Maxidot (where fitted) or the indicator stalk)...

Now I know why I love this website and Skoda's...

Thank you people! :)
