My Bolero unit has developed a fault as it keeps switching itself off and on. You can hear the power relay clicking when doing so. The dealer thinks it could need a replacement power button. I have been looking at maybe getting an Amundsen to replace it.

 

Would this just be a matter of taking off the fascia and replacing the unit?

 

Do the plugs at the back have the same connectors?

 

What is the best GPS aerial as a replacement?

You could swap and I think the plugs at rear will be similar but you would need a new fascia as Bolero and Amundsen are different shapes.
