Just Tryed to start my sdi turned the key wated for glow plug light to go out turn to start and all I get is a click so after 3 or 4 off on it starts all light on dash working aswell windows etc

Once it started if I turn it off and go to start again it will not then after the 3 or 4 turns to start it does wot could be wrong

Am think not battery could be starter motor as the click would be the solenoid trying do it thing

Any help be very helpful

start with clean battery terminals and then try to check the voltage during cranking if that clears the clicking if not check for switch out put and starter motor/engine block earth

Cheshire Cat said, clean the battery terminals first, if that does NOT stop the clicking, then check the Earth Terminals to both the Engine and the Starter motor (At both ends of the cable)
