Diagnostics on iPhone?

Featured Replies

Hi all. We were having a chat in the office and there's a chap using a bluetooth ODB2 connector with an app called Torque on his Android phone to get data logging, fault codes and gauges (boost, revs, engine load etc).

Has anyone done this before and is there anything similar for iPhone? I was looking at VCDS but this seems like a very inexpensive solution for the basics. What sort of connector would I need to get?

Many thanks....

Yes VCDS HEX-NET will work on any device that has wifi.

Granted it's dearer but cheap is rarely good and good is.rarely cheap

if you search the itunes store for obd scanner there are a number of apps that perform a simillar function to the Torque android App. For the iPhone you'll need to purchase a WIFI OBD2 adapter and no the Bluetooth ones needed by Android.
